Central Park is a gated neighborhood in the heart of Lakewood Ranch, built between 2010 and 2017. Home prices generally range from the upper $300,000s into the $900,000s, depending on the size, location, and updates.
The community is made up of five villages—Claremont Park, Forest Park, Gramercy Park, Longview Park, and Piedmont Park. While the neighborhood has a cohesive feel, each village has its own personality, giving Central Park more architectural variety than many planned communities.
Central Park offers a mix of one- and two-story homes, and that's one of the things I like most about the neighborhood. Some villages feature bungalow-inspired homes with welcoming front porches and plenty of architectural character. Others offer more traditional Florida-style homes with two- and three-car garages, while some sections include larger homes on premium water or preserve lots.
Because the community was developed in phases by different builders, the homes don't have the "every house looks the same" feel you'll find in some neighborhoods. As you drive through Central Park, you'll notice the styles change from one village to the next while still fitting together as one community.

It's easy to see why the neighborhood was named Central Park. The park serves as the community's gathering place, with open green space, a splash park, tennis courts, sports fields, playgrounds, a covered pavilion, two fenced dog parks, a butterfly garden, and sidewalks and walking trails that connect much of the neighborhood.
Some villages also have their own neighborhood amenities. For example, Claremont Park residents have access to a community pool in addition to the main park.
